A message from Pastor Paul
A warm welcome to one and all!
My wife Paula and I have a big, friendly golden retriever who greets everyone who visits the parsonage. He extends his warm welcome to anyone who passes through the front door of our home because he is sure that everyone who visits is a friend he doesn’t know yet. He feels it is his job to make sure that everyone who comes to visit knows they are loved. He’s very good at his job.
Not surprisingly that is also the task of the Church as well. Webberville UMC is a congregation of warm and friendly people who welcome visitors as friends we don’t know yet. We endeavor to display the hospitality of our heavenly Father to everyone who comes to worship with us.

A family lives and learns together. A church family is much the same way. There are many opportunities here to learn more about the faith we share. We offer a variety of ways to learn more about the Christian faith, and everyone is welcome to investigate the various opportunities and see which class fits them the best. There are traditional Sunday school classes, topical studies and a class for people who don’t know much about the Bible and want to know more.
Worship is at the heart of our relationship with God. God has welcomed us into His family and we can’t stop praising Him for extending His love to us. Our worship style is flexible. We are traditional in many ways and yet we offer dramatic presentations, children’s puppets (with singing!), our choir and even a praise quartet.
I began by telling you about our golden retriever Duncan; I’d like to close by telling you about our people. Our people are what make Webberville UMC special. There are many occasions to share in fellowship and service here, from crafting, to the prayer shawl ministry, to Crop Walk, and our Relay for Life team. There is a United Methodist Women and a United Methodist Men’s group and both offer opportunities for ministries and for fun. We’d like to share our passion for Jesus with our community, and have an enjoyable time in the process. Won’t you come and join in the Lord’s work?
God’s blessings to you,
Pastor Paul
